filet doily

it has started...

the other night, it was nice and cozy here

lit a new candle

made some tea

and started work on my filet doily to enter in this years county fair

i am really pleased with how it's turning out so far

and seems to be a lot quicker to crochet than i thought

seems like old times

i made this beautiful shawl over my holiday break

i cannot recall the colorway, and they no longer sell it at my local craft store

but it's from loops & threads impeccable

so soft...

i decided against blocking it

and kind of like how the edges are ruffle-like

since winter has completely bypassed my city

this has been perfect for mildly cool evenings and mornings
